The university leaders led a delegation to the University of Manchester for an exchange visit

  In order to gain an in-depth understanding of the teaching and research situation of the Sino-foreign cooperative education project in clinical pharmacy and further improve the training of students, Yang Yong, vice president of our university, and his delegation visited the University of Manchester in United Kingdom from April 25th to 26th.


  Prof. Allan Pacey, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Manchester, and the project team extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Prof. Yang Yong, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Manchester, introduced the main purpose of the exchange visit and the current status of cancer research and treatment in China and our university. The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the possibility of Sino-British teaching, project management, master's and doctoral admissions, as well as international joint laboratories in scientific research and new drug development, and hoped to carry out more in-depth cooperation in talent training and scientific research cooperation in the future.


  During the visit, the delegation visited the teaching centre and laboratories of the University of Manchester, observed the teaching and learning of the course, and communicated with the student representatives to learn more about their study and life at the University.


 This visit further strengthened the exchange and cooperation between our university and the University of Manchester, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the high-quality development of talent training.
